25-year old righty swinging SS/3B/OF Trevor Plouffe is getting a shot at regular P.T. in the outfield and at 3B. It will be interesting to see if he takes advantage of the chance he is getting. Plouffe has played in 29 games for the Twins so far this year and he is 14 for 86 (.163 avg, .610 OPS) with 10 runs scored, 4 homers and 7 RBIs. He has now played in 132 games in his first three years with the Twins and he is 88 for 413 (.213 avg, .656 OPS) with 64 runs scored, 14 homers, 44 RBIs and 3 stolen bases.
