The Minnesota Twins re-sign Wilkin Ramirez
The Twins have re-signed 27-year old righty swinging outfielder Wilkin Ramirez to a minor league deal. Ramirez played in 113 games in A+AA+AAA-ball last year for the Twins and he was 125 of 434 (.288 avg, .812 OPS) with 52 runs scored, 19 homers, 61 RBIs and 9 stolen bases. He last played in the majors back in 2011 for the Braves. Ramirez has played in 35 games in his first two years in the majors and he is 10 for 37 (.270 avg, .808 OPS) with 11 runs scored, 1 homer and 5 RBIs. Ramirez will get a shot to win a bench job next spring for the Twins.
